Shane was my supervisor when I was doing my Social work field placement at Disability Services. I was lucky enough to get Shane not only as a supervisor but also a very good mentor. The feedback Shane was provided me was always in-depth, well thought and thorough. He has vast knowledge on social work theories and its practice implications.   Even after finishing my placement Shane enhanced his support to me with generosity. Whenever I felt I need to discuss academic issues with someone else I always contacted Shane, every time Shane supported me by providing necessary information which I found was tremendously useful.  I would like to share one incident which was very exciting for me that is I was preparing my presentation for my university study, so I was needed some relevant literature to support my argument , I was not getting enough information on it. So as usual I contacted Shane, and then he sent me a report that was very informative for my topic. I did my presentation and got highest mark.  Shane is such a brilliant Social Worker !  I wish him all the best for his present career and future endeavour. -  Farhana Hossain, Student Social Worker, November 2011
